“La Roda del Viento” is a show by DORANTES, inspired by the circumnavigation of the Earth at the hands of Magellan and Elcano to celebrate the V Centenary of the First Tour of the World, an event that marked a before and after in communication and world relations giving rise to the beginning of globalization.Dorantes embarks us in the Port of Seville in the 16th century and in five movements makes us feel the adventure lived in this immense expedition, the enthusiasm of the origin of the trip in Seville in 1519, the restlessness of the route, the splendor of the unknown, the exhaustion of death and the discovery of a new spice route, which means much more, because it is the triumph of a challenge and the beginning of a new global era that is coming to our days.”
