“The exhibition room Espacio Santa Clara hosts the exhibition ‘Santas de Zurbarán: Devotion and Persuasion’, a stellar exhibition organized by the Cultural Department of the City of Seville with the collaboration of the bank BBVA. The exhibition brings together 17 masterpieces of Zurbarán dedicated to the Holy Virgin painted by the master from Extremadura, along with a series of creations of 11 Spanish designers who have been inspired by these compositions.

With the presence of the mayor of the city, Juan Ignacio Zoido, accompanied by the delegate of Culture, Education Sports and Youth, Maria del Mar Sánchez Estrella; Benito Navarrete, coordinator of the exhibition and Luis Odriozola, commercial director of the Southern Territory of BBVA this exhibition has been presented bringing together for the first time the pictorial work of the Holy Virgin of Francisco de Zurbarán in Seville.”
