“This exhibition shows for the first time substantial part of Pablo Neruda’s vast collection of seashells. About four hundred pieces of great aesthetic and malacological value is displayed next to a small selection of books from his private library, which were donated along with the seashells to the University of Chile in 1954, when he turned fifty.
The exhibition is completed with photographs and an anthology of pieces from his work, which brings us closer to the Nerudian world and his powerful relationship with nature.
An opportunity to peek into the creative sources of one of the greatest poets of the Spanish language through a trip over the sea of his collections and poetry. ”
