Topkapi Palace is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Istanbul. Cultural and administrative headquarters of the Ottoman era and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it is an extraordinary architectural complex that celebrates the cultural and historical richness of the Ottoman Empire.
The Treasury houses some of the most desired possessions of the Ottomans: jewelry, valuable pieces of porcelain, Ottoman weapons from up to the 7th century such as Umayyad and Abbasid swords or Persian armors, as well as a large number of other pieces of great value.
Boris Micka has designed the Treasury exhibition and has, once again, relied on Bonadei and Grassia VanCram to design the lighting that enhances the pieces on display.
